Image / Credit Price Comparison

September 2014 Stock Photo Agencies Last update: 16 June 2015

Comparison list of price per credit or image on stock photo sites to show you how much buyers pay for a single stock photo and how it compares to the other agencies.

When you read this list carefully you might get confused by two different terms used: "credit pricing/price per credit" or "image pricing/price per image". This is due to different payment schemes held by stock photography agencies. For example, you can buy 500 single credits for $379 (on Stockfresh), which means that your "price per credit" is $0.76 regardless of an image price, and you can download any images at any price/size up to your credit limit (you don't pay for image but for the number of credits). On the other hand, if you buy a subscription plan for $469 which allows you to download 20 images per day (like on Depositphotos), your "price per image" is $0.26.

In addition, we have compiled a summary of Subscription Plans introduced by individual stock photo sites, including compensation for photographers for sales made via subscription packages purchased by stock photo buyers.
