On 8 November 2018, Alamy announced their new collection of 360-degree stock images!
Due an increasing customer demand for 360-degree stock images, Alamy have partnered with 360Cities and incorporated their content into Alamy’s own collection. With over 150,000 files, it is an impressive collection to start with. More images will be added in no time as Alamy is now open to submission of 360-degree stock images by stock photographers.

If you create 360-degree artwork and would like to sell them on Alamy, follow the criteria specified below.
360-Degree Stock Images Submission Guidelines
- Images must contain Photosphere XMP metadata
- Maximum compressed file size of 200mb
- Images must have an exact 2:1 aspect ratio
- Projection type must be Equirectangular
- Images must have no stitching errors
- Very little optical distortion is allowed
- Images should be uniform in luminosity and colours
Quality First
Alamy wants to ensure their collection is of the highest quality, so photographers must provide the best content. If you want to upload your own 360-degree stock images, first you’ll have to submit 3 images to pass quality control, even if you are a regular stock images contributor. Make sure your 360-degree stock images meet the above requirements. Once your initial batch is approved, you can start uploading more images.
